I am an English teacher with a passion for books, literature and motivating young people to succeed. Having taught in countries around the world, I have now been teaching in England for over 15 years and still love every minute of it. I am a published author of the book “Empowering  Young Leaders” (Routledge 2024)

I’ve been a teacher of English for 20 years and currently work in an outstanding school as well as tutor dozens of young people. I am a trained board examiner who keeps up with all the newest developments in the world of pedagogy and examinations. My tutees have fantastic exam results year after year.

My teaching approach is centred on building confidence, skills, and subject knowledge so that students not only improve academically but genuinely enjoy learning. I create a warm, engaging, and supportive environment where students feel secure, valued, and confident to ask questions and take risks. Whether working one-to-one or in small online groups, I focus on clear communication, strong foundations, and exam-focused strategies, ensuring students can transfer what they learn into assessments with confidence and success.
