A brief introduction

I am a seasoned educator and education consultant with over 15 years of experience working with students, young professionals, and education professionals across diverse academic and professional contexts. My work spans one-to-one tutoring, mentoring, trainer-led programmes, and the design and delivery of masterclasses focused on academic success, skills development, and long-term educational planning.
At the core of my practice is a highly customised approach. I work closely with learners and families to tailor pedagogies, instructional strategies, and learning plans to individual strengths, goals, and learning styles. Whether supporting school-age students, guiding young professionals through skill-building and career transitions, or working with educators and institutions, I focus on clarity, confidence, and sustainable growth.
I also provide strategic guidance on university placement, helping students navigate subject choices, applications, and pathways that align with both academic potential and future career aspirations. Drawing on deep experience in higher education and educational systems, I support informed decision-making at critical transition points.
As both an educator and consultant, I combine evidence-based practice with practical insight to help learners chart clear, achievable pathways for future education and career development.

Tutoring Experience

I am an experienced higher education professional, instructor, trainer, and consultant with over a decade of experience across teaching, institutional leadership, and advisory roles. I hold Master's-level training in Social Anthropology and bring a systems-oriented, evidence-informed approach to education, equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI), and organisational change.

I served as Manager and Acting Director of the Office of Accessibility and Inclusion at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), where I have led university-wide policy development, governance processes, and research-informed initiatives advancing accessibility, gender equity, and inclusive institutional culture.

Alongside my leadership role, I am an Adjunct Faculty member at the LUMS School of Education, where I design and teach Education and International Development and Education in the Globalized World. My teaching integrates inclusive pedagogy, instructional design, and AI- and ICT-enabled learning approaches, and I contribute to education quality improvement initiatives through various collaborations with university and government-linked education projects.

I have also held long-standing Visiting Faculty appointments at the Lahore School of Economics, teaching sociology and social development across multiple terms since 2010. In this role, I have led critical thinking and research skills modules, introduced practitioner-led seminar series, and consistently embedded equity, inclusion, and institutional analysis into course design and assessment.

In addition, I have worked as a Consultant with Eye on Ivy, a university placement consultancy, where I conducted market and competitor research, supported business model and service design, and advised on equitable access, admissions pathways, and student guidance across local and international higher education systems.

Across these roles, I am recognised for translating research and qualitative insight into practical strategies, delivering facilitation-based training, and supporting institutional and cultural change within complex higher education environments.

Teaching Method

My teaching approach is grounded in thoughtful instructional design and pedagogical innovation, combining structure with creativity to make learning engaging, relevant, and effective. I design customised learning materials that are interactive, accessible, and responsive to different learning styles, drawing on real-world contexts and evidence-based practice. I use varied assessment approaches to support deeper learning—ranging from formative feedback and reflective tasks to applied projects and skill-based evaluations—ensuring learners can demonstrate understanding in multiple ways. I continuously adapt and refine pedagogy to support motivation, confidence, and meaningful progress, with a strong focus on helping learners develop transferable skills for academic success and future growth.
