I am professionally trained actor with over 4 years experience teaching LAMDA Exams, public speaking and communication skills. I provide lessons in LAMDA examination preparation and also audition/drama school preparation- many of my students currently performing on the West End/ working with the TV and Film industry.  I graduated from Rose Bruford drama school with a first class degree. I have a passion for helping young people find their voice and confidence.

I have over 4 years experience teaching drama and preparing students for LAMDA exams in the Acting, Public Speaking , Verse and Prose and Reading for Performance Syllabuses. This includes going into to schools delivering small group and 1-1 classes. As well as running private venues for larger groups and also online 1-1 classes. I have 100% success rate in LAMDA exams with most students achieving a distinction. I am experienced in teaching young people from all backgrounds and can confidently tailor classes to students individual needs.

My teaching approach empowers young people to feel confident and competent within their communication skills. My teaching focusses on ensuring students are meeting the marking criteria for their LAMDA exams. This includes clarity of diction and enunciation, being able to use their facial expression and vocal tone to convey meaning, and speaking with an appropriate audibility. I also make sure students are adequately prepared for the theory section of their exam, helping them prepare appropriate answer and also to feel confident holding a conversation with an adult and an ability to lead a conversation.

Within the acting grades there is a focus on confidence and character understanding. I teach students acting techniques in order to use their vocalisation and movements around the stage to accurately portray the story. I can also help with auditions/ drama school preparations- many of my students are currently working with the TV and Film industry or performing on the West End.
