A brief introduction
I bring over 18 years of teaching experience at SKANS, where I have taught F1 (Business), F4 (Corporate & Business Law), and SBL (Strategic Business Leader), with a strong emphasis on conceptual understanding, exam technique, and real-world application relevant to contemporary business environments.
Throughout my career, I have consistently supported strong student outcomes by using student-centred, syllabus-focused teaching approaches aligned with international and UK assessment standards. I specialise in breaking down complex business and legal concepts into clear, accessible learning, using practical examples, case studies, and exam-focused strategies to build confidence and competence. My experience across foundation to strategic-level programmes enables me to adapt effectively to diverse learning styles and academic abilities.
I am a dedicated, reflective, and enthusiastic educator who values continuous professional development and innovative teaching practices. I am particularly committed to developing critical thinking, ethical awareness, and decision-making skills that prepare students not only for examinations, but also for higher education and future professional careers in the UK, Pakistan and beyond.
Tutoring Experience
Over the years, I have taught a high volume of cohorts, consistently delivering 8–12 examination-focused batches each year across F1, F4, and SBL. This extensive exposure has given me in-depth familiarity with examiner requirements, assessment objectives, and recurring student performance trends across multiple examination sittings. As a result, I have developed a strong ability to design structured, exam-focused lessons, address common learning gaps, and effectively prepare students for professional-level assessments.
Teaching Method
1. Syllabus-Led, Assessment-Focused Teaching
I plan my lessons carefully around the official syllabus and examiner guidance, with clear learning objectives for each session. I place strong emphasis on command words, assessment criteria, and exam technique, ensuring students understand both what is required and how to achieve higher-level marks.
2. Applied Learning through Case Studies
I use real-world and exam-based case studies to connect theory to practical business and legal contexts. This approach allows me to develop students’ analytical and evaluative skills, strengthen structured written responses, and prepare them effectively for professional and strategic-level assessments, particularly in subjects such as SBL.
3. Engaging, Student-Centred Learning
I encourage active participation through discussion, questioning, and problem-solving, supported by guided activities, past-paper practice, and targeted feedback. This method helps me support diverse learning styles, build student confidence, and foster independent thinking essential for progression to higher education and professional careers in the UK.
